Tucson Business Leadership Responds to Tragic Shooting
Times of immense sadness and shock bring out many emotions and feelings as we all face the unbelievable tragedy that befell Tucson on Saturday. Congresswoman Giffords is a staunch ally of TREO; we work closely with her and her staff on policies and issues that impact our economic recovery. Our deepfelt thoughts, prayers and compassion are with the families and victims today, tomorrow and in the months to come.
We as a community can face this week with courage, intelligence and determination. In time, we can move beyond sadness and anger, and work together to advance our region, state and nation with reasonable civil discourse around our most important issues. We must rise together as a community and show the world that Southern Arizona can be a leader in responsible, effective community development, even amidst our own tragedy and grief.
