Dr. Satish I. Hiremath is the Mayor of the Town of Oro Valley, AZ.

Hiremath is a practicing dentist and father of four. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Howard University College of Dentistry.

Hiremath served as president of the Southern Arizona Art and Cultural Alliance, was elected “Community Leader of the Year” by the Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce, is a patron of the Children’s Room at the Oro Valley Public Library, and has contributed to many youth, family, and community nonprofit organizations over the years.

Most recently, Dr. Hiremath spearheaded the launch of Oro Valley’s Veterans Support Initiative which provides an online informational hub of resources, events, and employment opportunities designed especially for those who have served or are currently serving in the military.
