Pima Association of Governments’ mission is to address regional issues through cooperative efforts and pooled resources. Elected officials of the eight local jurisdictions and a governor-appointed member of the Arizona Department of Transportation Board serve on PAG’s Regional Council. PAG’s primary purpose is to build consensus with member jurisdictions and the public on regional issues such as transportation, population growth, and air and water quality. PAG has three divisions: Transportation Planning, Environmental Planning and Technical Services. PAG also manages the Regional Transportation Authority.
