Employers will find a diverse, educated, and enthusiastic workforce in Tucson. Located in one of America's youngest states, over half of Pima County's population is in the prime working age range of 18 to 54. The civilian labor pool is made up of more than 450,000 people representing several ethnicities.
In late 2006 Pima County reportedly reached a population of one million residents. Reaching this milestone should add considerably to Tucson's workforce.
