Long Realty Company was established as a family business in 1926 by real estate broker Roy H. Long. He started the company with three agents and a belief that, “if you take care of people first, the business will take care of itself.”
80 years and 1,400 licensed realtors later, Long Realty Company continues to follow Roy’s belief, which helped establish Long’s mission: “to create an exceptional real estate services experience that builds long lasting relationships.”
As the largest full-service real estate company in Southern Arizona, Long reported $5 billion in sales in 2005 and falls in the list of top 25 real estate companies in the country.
“That’s something I’m very, very proud of,” said Rosey Koberlein, Chief Executive Officer for Long Companies.
Rosey credits much of Long’s success to the Tucson community.
“The business community in Tucson is critical to Long Realty – a driving factor of the industry is the employment market,” she said.
Among the top of Long’s many accomplishments is the establishment of the Long Realty Cares Foundation in 2002. Since that time the Foundation has donated more than $1.2 million to non-profit organizations in the community.
The growth of Tucson and its surrounding communities has been a proven factor for success at Long Realty Company.
“There will always – no matter the condition of the economy – be a need for consumers to buy and sell houses,” said Rosey. “That’s why it’s a great industry to be in.”
