B/E AEROSPACE EXPANDS THEIR TUCSON, AZ FACILITY
TUCSON, AZ, Aug 12, 2011 -- B/E Aerospace (Nasdaq:BEAV), the world's leading
manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and the world's leading distributor of aerospace
fasteners and consumables, today announced that the Company is expanding its Tucson,
Arizona manufacturing facility. At the Tucson facility the Company manufactures Super First
Class products for commercial airliners. The expansion includes a 13,600 sf two-story wing of
office space and an additional 20,700 sf of factory space.
“The expansion is being driven by the growth in demand for Super First Class suites for
our airline customers. The new facility will enable us to successfully meet the growing demand
for our products and better serve our airline customers around the world,” commented Doug
Rasmussen, Vice President and General Manager – Tucson. “We will be able to significantly
increase our engineering and production capacity and improve the overall flow of our production
processes. In addition, the expansion is bringing a wide variety of high quality jobs to Tucson.”
